"You will be forever strong off the field."
If you haven't seen Forever Strong, you most definitely should. This movie is very inspirational. Its in my top five or so favorite movies. It teaches you about dedication to a team, and commitment. It also teaches a little bit about the LDS religion. Don't let that last sentence change your mind about seeing it. It doesn't go full in depth like missionaries do, it just mentions and refers to our Savior and Heavenly Father. About a year or so back, we had the opportunity to have Larry Gelwix, the man who inspired this movie, talk to all of the wards in our city. He is an incredible speaker. I will never forget the words that he spoke at the pulpit. He said that film directors heard about him and contacted him wondering if they could do a movie about him. He rejected. They came again asking. He said, alright fine. But he didn't want it about him. He wanted it about the players. The boys that make it happen. He didn't want all the credit. The boys. They deserved it. Now I'm going to stop explaining the whole movie...I'll give you a chance to see it first. :)

Larry Gelwix

Kaci
